The ECOS Institute is staffed by veteran outdoor education, youth development and adventure camping staff.
ECOS instructors provide an unparalleled outdoor education experience for young minds, while promoting an atmosphere that ensures physical and emotional safety for all the students. ECOS delivers an outdoor classroom curriculum that emphasizes imaginative and creative lessons that utilize hands-on, experiential learning. Instructors provide education that meets California’s Common Core State Standards and 21st century life skills.
Instructors stay on location with their cabin groups at night and spend time leading recreation and social activities that encourage and develop teamwork amongst the students.
