The ECOS Institute is owned and operated by Emerald Cove Camps. Established in 1972, Emerald Cove Camps (ECC) was among the first to create outdoor adventure programs designed to shape the “whole child.” As an ACA-accredited camp, the ECC leadership brings more than 100 years of collective experience in outdoor education, youth development and adventure camping to the programs it offers. Trained, experienced staff have long been the hallmark of ECC with tens of thousands campers served.
The ECOS Institute continues the ECC mission of creating outdoor adventure programs designed to shape the whole child with a purposeful, hands-on outdoor science set within an outdoor classroom environment. Its core mission: to grow the knowledge, skills, character and relationships of participants.
